Le Vignoble is a great place for a hen weekend celebration. Why? Well mainly because of their enomatic wine dispensers. If you have no idea what that means then don’t worry, it’s basically a wine vending machine. And it’s as amazing as it sounds.
Wander around the space and find a wine that sounds appealing to you (choosing by how nice the labels are works quite well if you know nothing about wine) and then using your top-up card you can choose the size of the glass and enjoy. One of the best things about these machines is the option of the ‘wine shots’. This is basically just a tiny glass, only a couple of sips, that are around 90p to £1.20 (some are more expensive, but it depends on what wine you’re getting). It’s a great way to try a few different wines, before settling on one, and it’s fun to do with your whole group too.
Of course, as a French place, Le Vignoble have a small menu where cheese heavily features. Every dish is delicious and the second you finish it, you’ll want to order another round. We would recommend the goats cheese tartines or the grilled brie. So cheesy and so good. However, Le Vignoble is quite expensive for food, it’s totally worth the money, but just be aware before heading here that it won’t necessarily be the cheapest venue.
They have regular tastings here, like celebrating English wine, Rioja nights and meeting the winemakers. You’re guaranteed to learn a lot and drink a lot at these, so if that’s sounds like your kind of night, then check their events and book onto one.
